We began our implementation of SAP Time Entry for professional services at our company as part of one of our major releases. Due to a lack of intimate knowledge about Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS), we never realized the importance of integration and customization among various modules, including SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM), Project System (PS), and SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) cProjects.
This article chronicles the missteps and problems we encountered and how we tackled these challenges with the next implementation. You can use our example to avoid mistakes and better understand integration of various modules associated with time entry implementation.
